For bride’s maids I recommend complimenting the color scheme of your dress or the wedding with your makeup. Of-course the eyes are the most obvious and fun way to do so. You can choose a monochromatic or complementary theme for your eye makeup. For my look I created a halo eye using BLK/OPL’s color splurge eyeshadow duo in Psychedelic craze and Racy maven. To create the halo effect I used the purple eyeshadows on the inner and outer third of my lids, leaving the center of the lid bare. I then used the color splurge eyeshadow in Racy Ice pink in the center portion the lid. The lightness of Racy Ice pink in contrast to the Psychedelic purple creates the desired halo effect. I finish the eye look by blending Racy Hot pink in my crease and Psychedelic purple on my lower lid. Walla! A soft romantic eye that still has enough color to draw the right kind of attention.
Glow from within
For skin you want a smooth, dewy finish that suits the romantic tone of a wedding day. I recommend that after you have done your foundation with any of the BLK/OPL true color foundation formulas, that you finish the look by lightly dusting the BLK/OPL baked bronzer in Sierra all over your face. This formula is subtle enough to give a hint of glow without being too shinny or over-powering.
